Growing up, Mark was a tinkerer. His early years were spent taking apart any television or radio he could get his hands on. Sometimes he even put them back together. A self-professed nerd, Mark fed his addiction for comic book and hockey card collecting by mowing his neighbors’ lawns. To this day, in his basement lies an enviable number of unopened collector comic books and pristinely kept and complete trading card sets.
Over time his hobbies got more expensive. Although he spent a fair amount of time at his father's manufacturing shop, he soon gravitated towards the world of computers and information systems. After obtaining a degree in Computer Information Systems from Ferris State University, he took a job in the financial sector building a decisions management systems. He enjoyed the work, but soon he had essentially automated his job to such a degree that his position was no longer necessary. His manager moved him to a data management team building out data access tools for reporting processes and he soon found himself leading development initiatives. From there he moved to other divisions within the organization doing things such as ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) work and setting up a Global Payment Repository. Most recently, he has taken ownership of reporting tool sets focused on conforming, centralizing and distilling enterprise information for all lines of business.
Mark is the technical mastermind of the team, not only building the physical infrastructure but following the changes in cryptocurrency trends. Due to his technical background, Mark has a great passion for the massive impact decentralized blockchain technology will have on society.
